Am came to my home studio yesterday to shoot classical art nude portraits with me. It has been about two years since my last art shoot, and I felt a bit rusty. I am currently shooting out of my home, using my spacious rooftop deck which allows for social distancing and open fresh air to minimize COVID concerns. I wish I had been gifted a cloudy day, but the harsh sun made for some unexpected shots with shadows created by my wooden folding screen. Overall, I am very pleased with the results, and I feel that the images definitely fall in line with my current artist's statement (shooting women of color in classical academic painterly settings).
